Q2 2024 Android Performance of Top Food Delivery Apps in the US

In Q2 of 2024, the Food Delivery Services sector on Android saw varying trends in user engagement and app downloads. Data from Sensor Tower offers us a glimpse into how these apps fared during this period.

PedidosYa - Delivery Online experienced a fluctuation in downloads starting at 5K in the first week of April and dipping to around 4K by the end of June. Weekly active users began at approximately 118K, peaking at 123K in late April, and then slightly declining to 115K towards the end of the quarter.

For Uber Eats: Food Delivery, downloads saw a modest increase from 142 in the first week of April to a peak of 513 in mid-May, followed by a decrease to 436 by the end of June. Weekly active users showed an upward trend initially from 12K to 14K in mid-April but eventually settled around 11K by the quarter's close.

Glovo: Food Delivery and More downloads had a steady start at 159 in April, reaching a high of 282 in early June, and then leveling at 228. Active users showed a more consistent pattern, starting at 26K, peaking at 29K in late April, and slightly decreasing to around 27K by the end of June.

The Swiggy Food, Grocery & Dineout app saw downloads hovering around 200 during the quarter, with a noticeable drop to 72 in mid-June before a slight recovery to 96 by the quarter's end. Active users remained relatively stable, beginning at 2.4K, with minor variations, and ending the quarter with a similar user base.

Lastly, Uber Eats Orders downloads remained fairly constant, starting at 114, dipping to a low of 60 in late May, and ending the quarter near the starting figure. Weekly active users ranged from 419 at the start of April to a low of 367 in late May, with a marginal recovery to 391 by June's end.
